Continuing its strategy of focusing on generation activity, the company will begin operations at the Cañamares photovoltaic plant in Castilla-La Mancha, with the commission certificate

Audax Renovables (ADX.MC), the energy group that integrates the production and commercialization activities of 100% renewable electricity and gas, obtained from the Provincial Delegation for Sustainable Development of Guadalajara the operating authorization for the entry into operation of the Cañamares photovoltaic plant in the locality of Fontanar, province of Guadalajara (Castilla La Mancha), with a power of 5 MWp.
 
Due to the current conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Audax Group has seen how some of the procedures have been delayed by different institutions. However, these delays have been resolved, which implies an imminent entry into operation of the aforementioned installation.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the Carolinas I and II photovoltaic plants, with a total of 10 MWp, both located in the municipality of El Casar (Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha), are about to complete the start-up procedures and will soon announce its start of operation.
Both the Cañamares project and the Carolinas I and II photovoltaic plants will sell energy under a PPA contract to their parent company, Audax Renovables.
The aforementioned projects did not require third-party financing, but were financed through green bond issues obtained by the Group at the end of the previous year.
 
In the coming weeks, the Group will continue to regularly inform the market about the progress of the projects in its portfolio, in order to keep the market and its investors permanently informed.
These projects are part of the Audax Renovables Group's strategy to increase its 100% renewable generation portfolio, and is therefore focused on closing other purchase agreements with the aim of supplying its customers with renewable energy produced in its own facilities.
