Priority and Special Needs Customers

Priority customers:

Priority customers are public utility institutions that provide health and safety services, for which the interruption of gas supply will have a major impact on their activity.

Who can request?

All customers can benefit from the Social Tariff, as long as they meet the conditions set out in the legislation.

  • Hospital establishments, Health Centers or entities that provide similar services;
  • Security forces and services;
  • National security facilities;
  • Firemen;
  • Civil protection;
  • Equipment dedicated to the safety and management of maritime or air traffic;
  • Penitentiary facilities;
  • Basic education establishments;
  • Installations intended for the supply of natural gas for collective public transport;
  • Other customers who comply with the principles defined in the Service Quality Regulation.

ATTENTION: All installations that, even if they belong to priority customers, do not serve the purpose that justifies their priority character, are excluded.
 

How to register priority customers?

Registration is voluntary and depends solely on the customer's initiative.
The registration request is made to the supplier with which the customer signed the supply contract.
You must submit the documentation that proves the conditions for you to be considered a priority customer and the form is available here:

Customer with special needs:  

If you are a client with special needs (visual, auditory, olfactory or oral communication limitations), you must submit the respective form and the medical statement proving the need.
 

Who can request?

Electricity

Customers with special needs are considered:

  • Clients with visual limitations – total blindness or hypovision
  • Clients with hearing limitations – total deafness or hypoacusis
  • Clients with limitations in oral communication.
     

Natural gas

Customers with special needs are considered:

  • Clients with visual limitations – total blindness or hypovision
  • Clients with hearing limitations – total deafness or hypoacusis
  • Clients with limitations in oral communication
  • Customers with olfactory limitations that make it impossible to detect the presence of natural gas

You must present a medical statement proving that you are a client with special needs and the form is available here:
